Recipes to Make with International Fabulous Flats™ Stone-Baked Pizza Crust
Sausage and Sweet Pepper Pizza

1 package International Fabulous Flats™ Stone-Baked Pizza Crust, Original variety 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup shredded Jack cheese 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 1 to 2 Italian sausages (hot, mild or combination), casing removed 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion 1/2 to 1 tsp hot red pepper flakes Salt and freshly ground pepper 1/2 cup tomato pizza sauce, homemade or store-bought 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced 1/2 yellow or orange bell pepper, thinly sliced
In small bowl, combine cheeses. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in saute pan over medium-high heat. Add sausages, breaking up meat with wooden spoon, and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Add onion and continue cooking, stirring often, until meat is no longer pink and onions are soft. Season with chili flakes and salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
Spread tomato sauce over pizza crust. Sprinkle with half of cheese mixture. Top with sausage mixture and bell peppers. Add remaining cheese.
Place pizza on baking sheet and place on middle rack of preheated 400F oven. Cook about 15 minutes for a soft crust or 20 to 25 minutes for a crispy crust.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
